Pardon the huge page width, folks, but the size of this image is necessary. I asked Ron if he could make an alignment for a few die hards out there who questioned the reality of the original image taken by Tholen, from which the fake was made. Ron was kind enough to do so. It should be noted that: The resolution of the image is 105 x 105 arcseconds. The resolution of DSS at that magnification is very small. We are seeing an image which is very high magnification (although Hubble is a lot better, DSS was not as good). The DSS image will only be 71 x 71 pixels. Finding star names will be a hairy task; some of those stars have not been named.
