Date:Thu, 21 Mar 2002 19:26:09 -0700 Subject: Copier Report Brent, please post on the agenda: I have had some problems with the copy machine. It had a spell where it wouldn't pick up the blank sheets out of the tray. I have figured out the cause and have corrected the problem. For quite a while I was getting crooked copies on some of the pages. Again, I think I have figured out the problem and fixed it. The requests are increasing. Nancy received an order for whatever $20 U.S. would purchase (5 books, 1 free and 4 @ $5 each). I also received a query on the cost of 10 or so books, an individual wants to hand them out to some of his friends. Most of the requests are from the U.S. but I have mailed them to Latvia, China and lots to Canada. If something happened to the copier (i.e. the drum needed replacing....lots of $ to replace) we need to have a plan in place to get these books made. The requests are only going to escalate. I would like to see someone volunteer to get the booklets made from a Kinko type business. I would do this myself, but I live 130+ miles from any large city that could offer competitive prices. If we could get 100 books done I think that would give us the breathing room we would need in case the requests truly explode and I am unable to either keep up with the requests or the machine broke.
