With the antenna, connectors, cables, clips etc., we have pretty well estimated a
cost of $850.00, but remember, this is Canadian it will be a lot less American.
I'm not sure how that exchange rate will work, but I will have that figure by
Sunday. If we have over-estimated we will, of course, return any money left over
to the non-profit.

The only thing that could stop this now is if (a), the neighbours really, really
object, which I don't think they will; or (b), if for some reason our landlord
won't let us put an antenna in the back yard. As long as I can make him
understand that there will be no damage to the property, he may go along with it;
but I will know this by Sunday as well, and if he is not going to give us
permission, then I guess we can't do it. We have ascertained that there are no
bylaws or zoning restrictions against this, which was something I was afraid of
because of our proximity to Pierson International Airport.

I have picked one of the more expensive antennas, I guess you could call it a 
medium price, because it will operate on all bands, except, of course, the two and 
four meter local. I figured that eventually I will need all the bands I can get.
It isn't the highest priced one either, and I don't know what you get for the higher
price that you don't get for the medium price, since the higher one operates on 
all the bankds as well.
