During 1999, Ron cleared 50 medium sized trees from the hillside where the "bermed hut with metal roof" was to be installed. At that time, in the summer of 1999, Nancy as homeowner purchased a gas chain saw for $250. The saw has been used exclusively for clearing access to the wetlands, woods, spring, and shelter site - all slated for nonprofit demos such as pole shift shelter, woodlands as food, collecting water, and woods survival. Receipts for the chain saw purchase are no longer at hand, but this was mentioned in Board Minutes and Log at the time.
