Mid-Pacific Snap

For months, the Wake Island lieve seismo has looked like spagetti, standing alone in this regard. This bobbling is a sign of extreme stress, and where exhibited on other parts of the world are followed by quakes. It seemed that Wake, positioned in the center of the broad Pacific Plate, was telling us that fracturing of the rock, folding of the rock within the plate so that Hawaii would raise and fault lines unknown to man deep in the ocean floor would adjust, would occur. Finally, it did! This snap was nowhere recorded on the quake databases, however. Once this bottle neck had been passed, it opened the gate for greater quakes in the Pacific.
